Are YOU a Speed Junkie?
Well it is time you kicked the habit.
Of course, I am not talking about some drug induced speeding mind but the effect of constantly receiving email alerts and offers from the ever expanding army of "guru"s.
It seems that almost everyday we get another email telling us about a new product launch and that this guru will give this $1000 bonus and that guru will add another $7000 worth of now-or-never bonuses.
Because of the frequency of all this, it leaves anyone in internet marketing with the impression that they had better get their product rushed out because the gurus are doing it every week.
Let's talk some reality.
Nobody is a superman, nobody has a 200 hour day, things need to be planned out.
I will share with you a little experience:
When I released two products in the same month, I had several of my clients in absolute awe. They bought both products and were knocked out by the depth and clarity of the information contained in the products. But all of them wrote and asked "how did you manage to get those two products out in just a month".
They seemed to think that I created all the content, got all the graphics and sales copy written and contacted all the JV partners and launched it inside 30 days!
Why did they think that? They were just caught up in this speed idea.
Well - I actually takes a lot longer, my products take months to get ready and the schedules for launching them are always
several months long.
Getting the Right Mindset
It all starts with selecting the theme and nature of the product.
1) The product has to answer a specific problem.
2) I have to do enough research to be sure that there is enough buyers for the product.
3) I have to select the correct format. Will it be an ebook, a video course, a membership site, a seminar, a master class? This choice will greatly effect the price.
4) I have to be sure what my prospective customers will pay.
These are all part of the millionaires mindset. Nothing is done slap-dash, everything is properly thought out and then worked through in a confident manner.
The mindset of successful marketers is
very different to 95 % of internet marketers that are struggling to make a few bucks.
