Why Articles Are the Best Traffic Generators
Many of us have heard of pay per click advertising and the gradual rise in the cost of such traffic. The cost of a $1.50 click can easily add up to a huge bill for traffic, and if it does not convert into sales, then of course your credit card takes a hit and your business can by in tatters.
Of course the beauty of PPC is that you can suddenly get hundreds or even thousands of visitors to your webpage. However, running a proper PPC campaign is quite challenging because you have to keep a careful watch on your conversion rates verses your PPC cost.
The other main concept to realize is that with PPC advertising you are not building any lasting traffic flow. The traffic is turned on with a gush when you start paying for the clicks, but it just as quickly dries up when you stop paying.
Nothing permanent has been built.
With article promotion, however the complete opposite is true. It times time to write and send out the articles, it time time for those article to get picked up by the bloggers and ezines, it takes time for search engines to recognize all those links to your site and credit you with the higher ranking.
BUT... everything that you do with article marketing is permanent. Everything that you do is cumilative. This means that the traffic that you build with articles is far superior than any PPC campaign.
Remember, there are no costs involved in putting out the articles and whats more, there are no costs to the future culilative effect of all those links to your site. With article marketing there are many add-on traffic generating technics to use. So many that you can never get into a rut of just writing articles.
For instance, say that you have just had a great run and you have written fifty articles. You are now fed up with writing and want a break. No problem there is loads of good stuff to do with all that content!
Once you have posted the articles on EZA, you can post them to at least another 50 article directories. You can then go and bookmark all those articles with digg, stumble and all the others.
You can read your articles into your microphone and then release them as audio files and give them away to ipod distributors. You can make videos out of some of them and put them on at least 10 of the top video sites.
You can make a squidoo lenses and blogger blogs out of some and link back to the EZA article to boost its ranking.
The great point is that everything you do is going to add to your success. You will boost your income, not today but you will get it a month later, and the following month and the next. You see what I mean?
